The Water Quality Association presented Glendale, Arizona business leader, Douglas T. White, with the Ray Cross Award at its annual convention and trade show in San Antonio this month.

WQA has more than 32,500 members, consisting of individuals and companies in the water treatment industry. Awards were presented at WQA Aquatech USA, an annual event that attracts
thousands of participants from around the world.

The Ray Cross Award is given for “pioneer spirit and unwavering commitment to make a notable difference in the water treatment industry.” In presenting the award, WQA stated: “Those
who know Doug White have seen his passionate commitment to quality, to integrity, and to helping others. Doug holds a doctorate from Stanford University. He has more than 35 years
of experience as a senior P&L manager with Borden, Honeywell, and Watts. He has been at the forefront of every part of the firm’s success, including mergers and acquisitions, operations,
strategic planning, and technology licensing. In fact, Doug is responsible for 12 successful acquisitions. He recently served as president of WQA.”

The Water Quality Association is a not-for-profit international trade organization representing
the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. Its membership consists
of both manufacturers as well as dealers/distributors of equipment. WQA is a resource and
information source, a voice for the industry, an educator of professionals, a laboratory for
product testing, and a communicator with the public.
