The Ultra Filtration System (UF3) is equipped with a unique swivel valve, in head, push button assembly.  This allows for a simple and sanitary filter change that does not require you to turn off the water source to the system.

This three stage filtration system is equipped with a stage 1 five micron Sediment filter that reduces sand, silt, sediment, and rust particles that may be in your water.  Stage 2 is a heavy duty lead and chemical reducing carbon block filter (LVOC).  This specially formulated block is capable of reducing lead as well has harmful Volatile Organic Chemicals (See performance data sheet for complete list of VOCs).  It is estimated that VOCs are present in one-fifth of the nation's water supplies.  These water contaminants can enter ground water from a variety of sources including localized use of herbicides and pesticides, gasoline or oil spill, septic system cleaners, and chemicals used in the dry-cleaning industry.  Stage 3 is our state of the art UF Hollow Fiber Technology membrane. 

Hollow Fiber Technology uses ultra filtration, a membrane filtration process which uses standard home water pressure to push water through its semi permeable membrane.  Suspended particles and materials of high molecular weight are unable to pass through the .2 micron UF membrane, leaving you with only fresh clean water and dissolved minerals to pass through.

The Filter-Pure (UF3) is capable of running at low water pressures, does not require a separate water holding tank, does not alter the pH of the water, and does not require electricity.  Thereby, providing a continuous on demand supply of premium quality drinking water directly to your tap.  In the past, this process has been used largely in municipal water treatment plants and hospitals; however through technology advances, it is now available to you as an under sink water filtration system!
